The Bible
We believe the Bible is God’s inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word. It is without error in its original manuscripts, and the final authority for faith and life.
God
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—each fully God, co-equal and co-eternal.
Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is God the Son, the second person of the Trinity; that He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary; lived a sinless life; performed miracles; died on the cross as a substitutionary sacrifice for our sins; rose bodily from the dead; ascended to heaven; and is now seated at the right hand of the Father.
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is God, fully divine; that He convicts sinners, regenerates believers, indwells them, teaches, sanctifies, and empowers them for godly living and service.
Humanity & Sin
We believe God created humanity in His own image; that all are born in sin and fall short of God’s glory. Without God’s intervention, no one can be made right with God.
Salvation
We believe salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. That Jesus’ death and resurrection provide the only basis for reconciliation with God. Confession and repentance toward God are essential.
Baptism & Communion
We believe baptism is a public declaration of faith in Christ, and an integral part of what is necessary for salvation. Communion (the Lord’s Supper) is an ordinance to be observed by believers as a remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice. Communion is observed on the first and third Sundays of each month.
The Church
We believe the Church is the body of Christ—undivided, visible, composed of all who have placed faith in Jesus. We believe in the importance of local church fellowship and mutual encouragement in Scripture.
The Christian Life
We believe in a life of holiness—obedience to God and separation from sin. As believers, we are called to grow in Christ-likeness, to live by faith, love others, and bear spiritual fruit.
Eternal State
We believe in the bodily resurrection of believers and unbelievers: believers to eternal life with God, unbelievers to eternal separation from God. We believe in Christ’s return—His visible, glorious return to reign forever.
